PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly stabilized detergent which enhances skin smoothness after cleansing and gives a new skin touch by blending a glycerin deriv., a silicone and, either of an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant and a nonionic surfactant in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: As a glycerin deriv. used is a compd. represented by formula I (wherein one of Z<1> and Z<2> is R<2> -Y-, the other is OH; R<1> and R<2> are independently 3-12C hydrocarbon or 14-20C branched chain hydrocarbon; and X and Y are independently O or formula II). A glycerin deriv. and a surfactant are blended in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:10 (wt. ratio). As a pref. glycerin deriv. represented by formula I enumerated are one wherein R<1> and R<2> are independently 4-12C, one wherein at least either R<1> or R<2> has a branched aliph. chain, and one wherein R<1> and R<2> are independently 10-20C and at least either of them has a branched aliph. chain. |
