PURPOSE: A receiving apparatus for stereo broadcasting is provided to resolve problems such as not hearing stereo broadcasting of the conventional mono tuner and complicated structure of the conventional stereo tuner. CONSTITUTION: A composite video signal is processed to have an intermediate frequency component and is sent to a signal synthesizing part(12). The signal synthesizing part synthesizes the composite video signal with an oscillating frequency of a voltage control oscillator(13). A first high pass filter(14) filters a synthesized composite video signal output from the signal synthesizing par in a high frequency. A first audio signal processing part(100) receives an audio signal filtered by the first high pass filter and outputs a first audio signal. A second audio signal processing part(200) receives an audio signal filtered by the first height pass filter and outputs a second audio signal. Thus, the apparatus provides an effect to hear stereo broadcasting using mono-tuner.
