PURPOSE: A remote controlling apparatus which can control in wireless the plurality of electronic machines, such as TVs, VCRs or air conditioners, which are set at various places is provided. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for respectively controlling a plurality of electronic machines, each of which are set at various places, includes; a remote control base station (20) for controlling each of the plurality of electronic machines(10). The identity numbers are assigned to the plurality of electronic machines, respectively. The remote control base station memorizes the identity numbers and uses the identity numbers to control the plurality of electronic machines in wireless communication with each of the plurality of electronic machines. Therefore, the apparatus can control the plurality of electronic machines which are set at various places without connecting the plurality of electronic machines with a central control apparatus in wire.
