PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonatediol which has a good liquid property and is useful for polyurethanes. SOLUTION: This polycarbonatediol for polyurethanes is obtained by reacting a 2,2-dialkyl-substituted-1,3-propanediol and/or the alkyleneoxide derivative of a 2,2-dialkyl-substituteded-1,3-propanediol with a carbonate or by reacting a 2,4-dialkyl-substituted-1,5-pentanediol and/or the alkyleneoxide derivative of a 2,4-dialkyl-substituteded-1,5-pentanediol with a carbonate. |
