PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door enabling the reduction of the size of a driving mechanism. SOLUTION: A drive 22 is installed at the lower part of a door 21 open/closed with a rotating shaft as an axis so as to put a driving wheel 23 in contact with a contact face 34 of a floor. When the drive 22 receives an open signal for the door 21 from the outside, a control circuit rotationally drives the driving wheel 23 via a motor to permit the door 21 to be open with the movement of the driving wheel 23 on the contact face 34. When the door 21 is open at an preset angle, namely, the driving wheel 23 is moved a preset distance, the control circuit stops the driving wheel 23 via the motor to permit the door 21 to be stopped. To make the door 21 closed, the reverse procedures can be taken, after the passage of a fixed time or after receiving a close signal from the outside. |
