PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by stopping an operation when a specific abnormality occurs prescribed number of times or more to prevent advance of an overheat or the faultral due to advance of abnormality by restarting the operation in an inverter device for driving a motor by an inverter circuit. SOLUTION: An AC power is applied to a rectifier 4 via a power source switching means 3 connected to an AC power source 1. A DC power of a rectifier 4 is converted into an AC power, and a motor 7 is driven. An overcurrent of the inverter circuit 5 is detected by an overcurrent detecting means 6. A control means 12 has an inverter control circuit 12a for controlling the means 3 and the inverter circuit 5 to decide a fault content of the inverter circuit 5 or the motor 7, an inverter drive circuit 12b for driving the inverter circuit 5, a switching means drive circuit 12c for driving the means 3, and a memory means 12d for storing the fault content. The means 12 inhibits an operation when the fault content stored in the means 12d occurs predetermined times or more. |
