PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a remarkable broadband that is not performed in the conventional practice for an optical receiver of optical communications with a simple circuit in order to realize a future digital multimedia service. SOLUTION: A serial connection circuit of a resistor and inductor is connected to the collector or drain of an active element used for a forward amplifying part constituting the optical receiver. The bias circuit of the active element is constructed by using a serial connection circuit of a resistor and inductor, and the transmission characteristics of an inputting stage are equalized with the nonlinearity of the amplification characteristics of one or more signal amplifiers to attain a remarkable broadband. |
