PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce cost in equipment expenses, energy loss, maintenance expense, and operation cost by greatly reducing use amount of deoxidizer, and dispensing with installation of a deaerator. SOLUTION: A combined power generation plant rotates and drives a generator (50) by a steam turbine (30) and a gas turbine (40). The combined power generation plant generates superheated steam to rotate and drive the steam turbine by exhaust gas of the gas turbine, and is equipped with an exhaust heat recovery boiler (20) having an economizer (21) and a hot well tank (1) storing feedwater to feed into the economizer. The hot well tank has a heating means (2) to heat stored feedwater to a predetermined temperature, and liquid upper space (3) of the storing feedwater is filled with a predetermined steam. The heating means makes feedwater heated by the economizer a heat source, and steam is generated by using the feedwater heated by the economizer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
