PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a glass panel to sash, forming a sufficient space between an end surface of a glass panel to which a glazing channel is attached and a bottom surface of the glazing channel, so that water in the glazing channel may not stay and thus the end surface of the glass panel is prevented from being exposed to the water. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the glass panel 1 is formed by piling a plurality of glass plates 8, 8 to the sash 2. Via the glazing channel 3 attached to the glass panel 1 by covering both face surfaces of the glass panel 1 and the end surface of the glass panel 1 along the periphery of the glass panel 1, the glass panel 1 mounted on the sash. The glazing channel 3 attached to the bottom end of the glass panel 1 includes a bottom face part 4 to cover the end surface of the glass panel 1 and lateral side parts 5 to cover both face surfaces, peripheral part of the glass panel 1. A space 14 of a depth of 3-10 mm is provided between the end surface of the glass panel 1 and the bottom face part 4 while an opening 15 communicating the space 14 with the outside of the glazing channel 3 is provided to the glazing channel 3.
