<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration wave motor that obtains durability even if reducing size, and meets drive performance at low temperature and high temperature, and to provide a lens barrel and a camera with the motor. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration wave motor 10 includes: an elastomer 14 that is joined to an electromechanical conversion element 13 excited by a drive signal, and generates oscillatory waves on a drive surface 16a by the excitation and forms a thin film 30 on the drive surface 16a; and a relative movement member 11 that includes a sliding surface 25 pressure-contacted to the drive surface 16a of the elastomer 14 and sides 21, 21A, 21B extended in a direction crossing the sliding surface 25, and is driven by the oscillatory waves. In the oscillatory wave motor 10, portions for connecting the sliding surface 25 to the sides 21, 21A, 21B in the relative movement member 11 are curved surfaces 24, 24A, 24B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
