PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which positioning is easily performed and reliability is made high. SOLUTION: In the fixing member of an optical connector which fixes an optical cable 1, a recessed section 5b of a first holding member 5 and a fixing section 6a of a second holding member 6 are fixed together by holding a wire material 2 of the optical cable 1. By engaging a locking section 6b of the second holding member 6 and a locked section 7b of a third holding member 7, rotation of the second holding member 6 and the third holding member 7 is controlled. By engaging the engaging section of the optical connector and the locked section 7b, rotation of an optical connector 10 and the third holding member 7 is controlled and positioning of the connector 10 along an axis line X direction is performed.
