The disclosure relates to a packaging laminate (2) including magnetisable particles which are incorporated in a quantity of from 0.1 to 25 g/m2 within one or more strip-shaped areas (1a, 1b) of printing ink along at least one of both longitudinal edges of the packaging laminate. From the packaging laminate (2), ready-to-fill packages are produced by fold forming and sealing of the type which have a longitudinal overlap joint, said strip-shaped particle-containing areas being localised within the area of this overlap joint.
