A carrier for a catalyst for preparing polyolefin is provided to reduce the cost by using a natural starting material applicable after simple physical treatment, and to allow control of the catalytic activity of a catalyst for preparing polyolefin by using a single carrier having various functional groups. A carrier for a catalyst for preparing polyolefin comprises a bioceramic material based on calcium, phosphorus or a mixture thereof. The bioceramic includes bones or dentine derived from humans or animals. The bioceramic includes shells of short-necked clams, ark shells, clams or oysters. A catalyst for preparing polyolefin comprises a metallocene catalyst supported on the carrier.
