A multi-tuner system is provided to multiplex respective transport streams, divide the multiplexed transport streams, and then decode the divided transport streams selectively through a digital decoder, thereby realizing a multi-tuner system using one digital decoder. A distinct information-generating unit(310) generates respective distinct information for distinguishing transport streams corresponding to broadcasting signals received from at least two tuners. A multiplexing unit(300) makes headers of the transport streams include the respective distinct information, and then incorporates the transport streams into one incorporative transport stream. A stream-dividing unit(320) searches the headers of the incorporated transport stream to extract the respective distinct information, and divides the incorporated transport stream into the transport streams based on the extracted distinct information. A controller(350) controls the stream-dividing unit based on the respective distinct information, thereby controlling the output of the divided transport streams. A digital decoder(330) receives, decodes, and outputs the transport streams outputted from the stream-dividing unit. First and second tuner(200,202) receives a broadcasting signal, which is transmitted to each broadcasting channel after being tuned to each channel a user wants, and provides the first and second demodulators(204,206) with the broadcasting signal.
