PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver enabling a user to adjust a panel clock. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television is provided with a reception part 2, a control unit 3, an LCD panel 4, a remote control light receiver 5, a remote controller 6, a video processing part 33, a frequency conversion part 34, and a clock 35. The frequency conversion part 34 outputs a panel clock 341 to be a drive frequency of a displayer to the LCD panel 4. When a mode key 61 of the remote controller 6 is pressed, the control unit 3 performs control so as to rock a frequency of the panel clock 341 outputted by the frequency conversion part 34. When a determination key 62 is pressed in a state in which the frequency is being rocked, it is controlled so as to stop the rocking and to output the panel clock 341 of the frequency when stopped.
