PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision sensing device with high reliability, which provides a desirable Doppler frequency. SOLUTION: The correct Doppler frequency free from affection by multi-paths is provided as follows: a coherent light is irradiated on a point on a reflection surface as reference light which is displaced when a vehicle collides, and by receiving the reflected light, the Doppler frequency is provided by the frequency difference between the reference light and the reflected light.
