PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility, a large current on/off ratio, and superior storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer containing at least one kind of compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula, X1-X10 independently express a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group each. R represents a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group.
