A caliper type electronic parking brake apparatus is provided to prevent the brake pedal slip phenomenon when operating a parking motor by an electric motor. A caliper type electronic parking brake apparatus is composed of a cylinder(10) in which hydraulic pressure is charged, a first piston(20) operating a parking brake and a service brake, a second piston(30) which is opposite to the first piston of the cylinder, and an electric motor(40) connected to the second piston. The first piston is moved to the left and right by the hydraulic pressure charged in the cylinder. An electronic parking brake control signal is transmitted to a hydraulic pressure control unit. The electronic parking brake control signal controls a normal open brake valve.
