<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device capable of surely lock a door even when ice or snow adheres to an upper surface of a door handle of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The door lock device for locking the door when a user touches the surface of the door handle is provided on the outside of the vehicle. The door lock device comprises an authentication part communicating with a portable machine held by the user and authenticating the user who is outside the vehicle, a capacitance type touch sensor detecting the touch when a user touches at least either one of the upper or lower faces of the door handle, and a lock part by which the door is locked when the authentication part authenticates the user as a legitimate user and a capacitance type touch sensor detects the touch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
