<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pull out the control board from the base even when the connector is fit obliquely. <P>SOLUTION: This information storage device has a case 60 which has a bottom plate having a through-hole formed open both to the inside and outside, a storage medium to store information, a head to access it, and the main unit which has an inner circuit board having a first connector fixed thereto to connect to an outer circuit and disposed at a position where the first connector is exposed to the outside through the hole, all inside the bottom plate of the case; and a control board 8 which has a second connector to fit the first connector and a control circuit to access the storage medium by the head and is disposed on the outer surface of the bottom plate of the case to fasten the second connector to the first connector.
