The present invention relates to a signal processing apparatus and a signal processing method using the same. The signal processing apparatus according to the present invention includes: an ADC which converts a sensor input value input from a sensor to a digital code, and outputs the digital code; a signal processing unit which converts the converted digital code to a voltage output value, and outputs the voltage output value; a DAC which converts the voltage output value to an analog signal and outputs the analog signal; and a compensating unit which calculates an output characteristic function of the DAC by using a predetermined test input value, calculates a second voltage output value which is a first voltage output value which has been compensated for its output error by using the output characteristic function, generates a compensated digital code corresponding to the second voltage output value and inputs the compensated digital code to the DAC. The present invention has an advantageous effect of reducing manufacturing costs and reducing the output error to a great extent at the same time since the present invention doesn′t have to comprise a separate circuit for compensating the gain or the offset of the DAC by generating a compensated digital signal of the voltage output value which has been compensated for its output error by using the output characteristic function of the DAC. |
