This electrostatic induction generator includes a housing, a first board secured to the housing, and a second board disposed parallel to the first board with freedom to move relative thereto. An opposing electrode is installed on a first opposing surface of the first board, and electrically charged films are installed at fixed intervals on a second opposing surface of the second board, in such a way as to face the opposing electrode. The opposing electrode consists of a plurality of first electrodes and second electrodes provided isolated from one another on the first opposing surface, the first electrodes and the second electrodes being disposed alternately in one row at fixed intervals. A plurality of rows of the first electrodes and the second electrodes are installed on the first opposing surface, and the phases of the fixed intervals of each of the plurality of rows are different from one another.
