PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that suppresses shaking in a shaft direction of a support shaft.SOLUTION: An engagement tooth forming member 70 that rotates according to operation of an operation lever engages or disengages an engaging tooth 72a with or from an engaged tooth 41 fixed to an inner jacket 11. A support shaft 50 that supports the engagement tooth forming member 70 and breaks at a secondary collision includes both end parts 50a and 50b which are supported by support holes 38 of a pair of tightened parts 19 of an outer jacket 12. An energizing member 90 that is interposed between the first end part 50a of the support shaft 50 and a side plate 22 facing the first end part 50a energizes the support shaft 50 in an energizing direction K2 pointing to the second end part 50b. A positioning part 39a arranged at a member 39 which is supported on the tightened part 19 positions the support shaft 50 in the energizing direction K2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
