PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check an operating state of a liquid jet device without opening a housing.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a liquid jet head 38 which jets an ink to a medium M; an imaging device 40 which captures images of the medium M; and a control unit 30 which causes a display device to display the images captured by the imaging device 40. The liquid jet head 38 and the imaging device 40 are mounted on a carriage 34. Reciprocating movement of the carriage 34 in an X direction (a second direction) enables image capturing and observation that covers a printable range of the medium M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
