PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of holding and conveying a print medium without contact on a front surface side while conveying with uniform tension in conveying the print medium such as cloth.SOLUTION: A printer includes a printing part, a print medium conveyance drive part, a print medium supply part, a print medium discharge part, a print medium supply side guide part, and a print medium supply conveyance path part. The print medium supply side guide part is structured of a supply side guide roller 46 having an engaging surface 46a engaging with a print medium arranged on a peripheral surface, and a torque limiter 83 connected to a support shaft 52 of the supply side guide roller. The supply side guide roller is supported so that tension is given to the print medium moving in a direction of the print medium conveyance drive part. When the tension of the print medium between a conveyance roller and the supply side guide roller exceeds a predetermined value, restraining force on the print medium on the supply side guide roller is released by the torque limiter, and the tension of the print medium is maintained at the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
