A ski pole which the skier can manipulate safely and lightly, which has a shock cushioning effect with a sufficiently long stroke of a grip relative to the shaft, and which is extremely high in safety, lightweight, simple in construction and inexpensive. The ski pole comprises an air cyclinder portion (A) having an air chamber (11) defined by the upper end portion of a shaft (3) and a sleeve (4) and a hollow body (2) integrally formed of an elastic material at the lower end of the grip (1), and an air spring portion (B) having an air chamber (10) formed inside a hollow body (2). In the air cylinder portion (A), the upper end portion of the shaft (3) serves as a piston and is slidable in the shaft (3). The sleeve (4) covers the grip (1). In the air spring portion (B), the hollow body (2) is integrally formed of an elastic material at the lower end of the grip (1), and the shaft (3) penetrates the hollow body (2). The lower end of the hollow body (2) is secured to the shaft (3).
