METHOD OF FILE PRE-READ CONTROL IN COMPUTER SYSTEM

One file is divided into a plurality of partial files, a partial file name is assigned to each partial file, a file access by a partial fine name is converted to an access to an original file and the file is read out as a whole. In this way, pre-read of a partial file becomes possible, throughput of the file system can be improved, the number of accesses to a secondary storage device can be reduced and an access wait time for a partial file can be shortened.
