<p>The invention relates to a stamp for producing tablets whose stamping element (2) comprises an ellipsoidal boss (4) encircled by a base (3). The boss (4) can comprise a cavity which is filled by a disc (14) projecting out of said cavity. The base (3) can flex during the pressing operation. In addition, the boss (4) is incompressible and is coated such that it at least reduces adhesion or it is entirely made out of plastic, whereby the material of the boss (4) is harder than that of the base (3). In a particular embodiment, the base (3) is surrounded by an incompressible, essentially uniform marginal strip (5). The marginal strip (5) lies inside at the height of the top edge of the base and is beveled outward in an upward sloping manner. The stamping element (2) is advantageously comprised of a plurality of individual parts which can be fixed when assembled.</p> |
