<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device that can easily composite images in a desired layout. SOLUTION: Layout information denoting a layout when images are composited is coded and recorded on a sheet member as a bar code and picking up an image of the bar code by a digital camera enters the layout information to the digital camera. In the case of compositing images, a desired layout is selected among a plurality of kinds of layouts (198, 200), and while the selected layout is displayed, a composition area of a processing object on the layout is selected (202, 204), images to be composited are selected or picked up (206-212), trimming is applied to them as required (212-222), and the display of the image is made for each processing area. Then image data denoting a composite image are generated (232) or instruction information to generate the composited image is generated (236).</p> |
