FRAMELESS SOLAR BATTERY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high reliability and high module rigidity of an amorphous silicon solar battery module at a low cost without using a frame which has been used in the conventional method. SOLUTION: A first translucent substrate is formed with an amorphous silicon solar battery layer on one face, the amorphous silicon solar battery layer formed with an insulator layer chief of which is a silicon dioxide, over the entire surface. The periphery of the insulator layer formed side face of the first translucent substrate is bonded to a second translucent substrate having the same size as the first one or larger with an adhesive to be made into an integrated structure. The following structure is also acceptable; the first and second translucent substrates are of the same size, and the first translucent substrate side is used as a light incident side.
