<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a three-phase transformer by forming a tank housing the transformer in a cylindrical shape having a small dead space and a solid structure, and at the same time, improving insulation performance by raising the pressure in the tank. SOLUTION: This three-phase transformer is constituted, in such a way that three elemental transformer bodies 12, each of which is constituted by respectively V-notch joining horizontal upper and lower yoke cores 11 and 9 to the upper and lower ends of a vertical leg core 8 wound with a coil 10, are arranged with the yoke cores 11 and 9 being positioned to each side of regular triangles, and both the upper yoke cores 11 and both lower yoke cores 9 of adjacent elemental transformer bodies 12 are respectively connected to each other through upper and lower connecting cores 15 and 15 having substantially V-shaped flat surfaces.</p> |
