PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the observer of a three-dimensional display device to carry out another work in the state of wearing polarized light glasses or shutter glasses. SOLUTION: A display direction detection device 2 calculates coordinates of a display 4 against polarized light glasses 1 on the basis of an image photographed by a camera 5. A polarized light controller 3 makes the polarized light glasses 1 such a polarization state as hatched lines show when the observer observes the display 4. In contrast, when the observer does not observe the display 4, the polarized light controller 3 changes the polarized light glasses 1 into a state without polarization.
