FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: device consists of an upper rotating disc (10) and a lower rotating disc (20), which can apply pressure to opposite end faces of a sample E of the measured material. The axes of rotation (a1 a1' and a2 a2') of the said discs lie parallel to each other in a direction which is perpendicular to the plane formed by the disc, and are displaced from each other by a distance d. Also, the axes of rotation (a1 a1') are provided with apparatus (13, 14) which can detect potential forces Fx and Fy generated by the sample S on the discs (10, 20) in two directions XX' and YY' parallel to the plane of the discs and perpendicular to each other in form of a reaction to deformations on the said sample S. The device also has two independent motors (12, 22) which can drive the upper (10) and lower (20) discs, respectively, with the same rotational speed ë without creating any angular displacement between these two discs. The motors (12, 22) correspond to the stepper motor type. Each of the stepper motors (12, 22) is controlled by a control unit (C1, C2), and each generates a sequence of pulses which are strictly synchronous such that total displacement of rotation between the two discs (10, 20) at any moment is less than 0.25. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring lateral forces and calculating the value of parameters G' and G" for the test sample. ^ 12 cl, 4 dwg |
