摘要 PURPOSE: An electro-optic device, a method for fabricating the device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to restrain the generation of light leak current by improving a light-shielding function of a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) to thereby display images with high quality. CONSTITUTION: An electro-optic device includes a data line(6a) extended on a substrate in a specific direction, a scan line(11a) extended intersecting the data line, and a TFT having a semiconductor layer(1a) to which a scan signal is provided by the scan line. The device further includes a pixel electrode(9a) provided with a video signal by the data line through the TFT, and an internal light-shielding layer(400) disposed above the semiconductor layer. The width of the internal light-shielding layer is smaller than the width of one of a circuit element and a line formed under the internal light-shielding layer.
