PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrification analysis system for developing an image forming method and an image forming apparatus, whereby an amount of wear of a photoreceptor can be reduced while hazard due to the repeated use of a photoreceptor is taken into account, uniform electrification is ensured, and hence stable image formation is ensured despite the repeated use of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrification analysis system simulates the discharge phenomenon of an electrifier that electrifies the photoreceptor by disposing an electrifying roller in contact with or close to the surface of the photoreceptor. The electrification analysis system includes: a data input part 1 which inputs the data of the electrification roller and photoreceptor; an electric field calculation part 2 which calculates an amount of charges accumulating on the photoreceptor; a hazard analysis part 3; and a result display part 4. The hazard analysis part 3 calculates kinetic energy applied to the photoreceptor by the charged particles moving as a result of the discharge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
