NODE AND CLUSTERING FOR LOCALIZATION AND LOCALIZATION METHOD

A node for location recognition, a cluster formation method using the node, and a location recognition method are provided to enable nodes disposed in an environment where a lot of obstacles exist to form clusters by themselves, and to enable a node which requires location recognition to find out a self cluster as using triangulation inside the found cluster, thus more exact location recognition is available. A location information message unit(110) receives more than one location information message including information indicative of spatial locations within a sensor network from more than one neighboring node existing in the sensor network. A distance value calculator(120) individually calculates the first distance value with the neighboring nodes based on more than one piece of location information included in the location information messages and the second distance value with the neighboring nodes based on one of transmission speed and transmission strength of the messages. A cluster forming unit(130) forms clusters with plural neighboring nodes in which a difference between the first and second distance values is smaller than a predetermined threshold value.
