<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording treatment solution which enables to improve optical density (OD value) of recorded images and also to protect from nozzle clogging. <P>SOLUTION: The invention refers to the treatment solution which is used for inkjet recording and contains cationic phospholipid compound and water (as shown in the chemical formula (1)). The treatment solution is given to the recording medium, and when the treatment solution and aqueous ink contact on the recording medium, the optical density (OD value) of recorded images improves.
