PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem where, in the case of a conventional structure, probability of occurrence of a power short circuit is large when a pinhole caused by dust or the like is generated. SOLUTION: The following structure is formed on a common electrode constituting this display panel having a display region having display pixels formed in a matrix-like shape. That is to say, a cutout part is formed in a part, of the common electrode formed in a strip-like form along the circumference of the display region to be electrically connected to electrodes formed to cover the entire display region, facing a power extraction line to which a potential different from that of the common electrode is applied.
