PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal force applying device capable of automatically altering the angle-of-rotation position of a microchip, and a specimen liquid analyzer. SOLUTION: The centrifugal force applying device 2 which constitutes the specimen liquid analyzer 100 includes a rotary arm 20, an arm rotating shaft 21, the arm rotating mechanism 22 for rotationally driving the arm rotating shaft 21, the rotary stand rotating shafts 24 provided to both ends of the rotary arm 20, the chip rotary stand 23 joined to the upper end parts of the rotary stand rotating shafts 24, the chip holding part 26 provided on the chip rotary stand 23, a rotary stand rotating mechanism 25 for rotationally driving the rotary stand rotating shafts 24, and a rotary stand driving force transmission mechanism 27 for transmitting power to the rotary stand rotating mechanism 25. The arm rotating mechanism 22 is constituted of a stepping motor 22a and a drive circuit 22b, and the stepping motor 22a is controlled by controlling the pulse signal supplied to the drive circuit 22b to perform the positioning of the rotary arm 20.
