PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor capable of reducing reverberation. SOLUTION: In this ultrasonic sensor wherein an ultrasonic element used in common for transmission and reception for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave through a bottom surface part by converting an electric signal into vibration, and by converting the vibration into an electric signal is fixed on the inner surface of the bottom surface part of a casing as a vibration member, a vibration damper is arranged in the casing so as to be in contact with at least a part of a portion excluding a contact portion with the vibration member on the surface of the ultrasonic element.
