<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of computing the locked rotor current of a DC motor which can simply and accurately compute the locked rotor current, without having the constitution of the DC motor subjected to its influence. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer 2 calculates the locked rotor current of the DC motor, based on a transient current value where the motor current value until the DC motor M rotates in stationaly manner, after the motor current value has reached its peak value, accompanying the start of the DC motor M, is under its peak value and not less than the current value at stationary rotation of the DC motor M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
