<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency sewing machine in which a certain and uniform adhesive strength is obtained by high frequency power controlling, generating of failure situations such as burning and hole breaking can be inhibited, bonding processing of a curve-like section or elasticity fiber cloth can be satisfactorily handled, and moreover, efficient bonding processing can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: The high frequency sewing machine is configured such that a workpiece H laid on a cloth placing plate 4 is intermittently transferred by a cooperative operation of a feed dog 8 and a presser foot 12 which carry out a synthetic motion horizontally and vertically, wherein high frequency power of predetermined value is given between a pair of planar electrodes 12 and 16 while transfer of the feed dog 8 is stopped, a thermoplastic resin tape T sandwiched between superposition sections of a fiber cloth W in the workpiece H is melted by induction heating to bond the superposition sections of the fiber cloth W, and includes a control section 45 which switches to a state giving a high frequency power of a value smaller than that during the transfer stopping between planar electrodes 12 and 16 during a transfer operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
