Provided is a refrigerator capable of opening a first door with a small amount of power by reducing opening force to open the first door through an opening assisting device. The refrigerator comprises: a body including a storage chamber; a first door installed in front of the body to be rotatable, and including an opening part; a second door installed in front of the first door to be rotatable to open and close the opening part; a first handle combined with the front side of the first door to open and close the first door; an opening assisting device separating the first door from the body to reduce opening force of the first door; a handle lever installed on the first handle to operate the opening assisting device; and a door cap combined with the upper part of the first door, and combined with a guide part guiding the opening assisting device, connected with the handle lever, to touch the body by penetrating the first door.
