The present invention relates to a method for producing an internally cross-linked core-shell emulsion resin, and to an internally cross-linked core-shell emulsion resin. The internally cross-linked core-shell acryl emulsion resin of the present invention is produced by the following steps: producing an internally cross-linked core by emulsification-polymerizing a free emulsion containing a monofunctional acrylate monomer and a polyfunctional acrylate monomer; and forming an amide functional shell on an internally cross-linked core by carrying out a loading reaction the acrylate monomer having an amide functional group to the internally cross-linked core. By adding and mixing a hydrophilic solvent into a base paint containing the internally cross-linked core-shell acryl emulsion resin, it is possible to prevent defects in painting due to a cut junction of thicker coating film after painting, while not changing viscosity of the paint. Owing to the amide functional group, orientation of metallic particles is secured as well. |
