<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy converter aiming at improvement of an electric utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The energy converter 1 is provided with a heat storing unit 2 having a heat storing material 211 which radiates heat when absorbing carbon dioxide and discharges carbon dioxide when absorbing heat. A controlling unit 100 of the energy converter 1 controls to switch over between a heat radiation mode in which heat radiation from a heat storing material 211 is supplied to a reformer 3 when the heat storing material 211 absorbs carbon dioxide generated at the time of reforming in the reformer 3 and a heat storing mode in which the carbon dioxide absorbed by the heat storing material 211 stores the heat generated at the time of energy exchange in the fuel cell 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
