PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that, even when a user has made a mistake in selection of a candidate phrase for predictive conversion, can quickly correct a character string including the phrase settled by mistake, so as to improve usability.SOLUTION: A character conversion device includes a function to, on the basis of some characters input to an input frame, predict character strings to be subsequently input to the input frame and display as a list of candidates for predictive conversion 301 at a position below the input frame.
