The invention relates to a brash (10) for a machine for the horizontal and/or vertical clean-ing of surfaces which are provided with grooves, joints, unevennesses and/or pores, wherein said ma-chine is provided to move the brush (10) in a plane which is substantially parallel to said surface, and wherein this brash (10) is provided with at least one set of first hairs (1) for cleaning or polishing the parts of the surface which extend between the grooves, joints, unevennesses and/or pores, - at least one set of second hairs (2) for cleaning the grooves, joints, un-evennesses and/or pores; wherein the brash (10) com-prises a base plate (4) which is provided to be re-leasably attached by means of one or several bolt or screw connections to one or several brash parts (5) which are provided with one or several sets of second hairs (2). The invention furthermore relates to a ma-chine for the horizontal and/or vertical cleaning of surfaces which are provided with grooves, joints, un-evennesses and/or pores, provided with one or sever-al of such brashes (10).
