An alignment film formation method and a liquid crystal display. The alignment film formation method comprises: providing a substrate (100), the substrate(100) comprising a display area (110) and a non-display area (120), wherein the display area (110) comprises a plurality of sides (111), an apex angle (113) is formed between every two adjacent sides (111), and the non-display area (120) is arranged around the display area (110); disposing a first alignment liquid on the display area (110) of the substrate (100); disposing a second alignment liquid, around the apex angle (113) of the display area (110), on the non-display area (120) of the substrate (100); and baking the first alignment liquid and the second alignment liquid to form an alignment film. |
