PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine that prevents an electric component of a door fitting plate from wetting with water when the water immersed within a box portion is discharged from a drain hole of the box portion.SOLUTION: A box portion is provided above a front cover. The box portion is a box shape having an opening portion. The opening portion of the box portion is covered with an operation unit. A drain hole is provided at ends of the box portion in the right and left directions such that the hole is positioned a rear side than a door fitting plate. The door fitting plate comprises a door and an electric component and is positioned at a front side. The drain hole discharges the water immersed within the box portion to the rear side of the door fitting plate to prevent the electric component of the door fitting plate from wetting with the water. |
