DEVICE FOR INPUTTING AND OUTPUTTING VIDEO SIGNAL OF DIGITAL TV

PURPOSE: A video signal input and output apparatus of a digital TV is provided to enlarge the application range by inputting and outputting the HD(high definition) standard RGB video signals from the digital TV to outer units. CONSTITUTION: A video signal input and output device of a digital TV is composed of outer input and output terminals(18,19) connected to outer units to input and output a video signal; a format converter(12) converting video data into for broadcasting the standard format, and outputting luminance and two chrominance signals; an RGB converter(16) converting the digital video signal including luminance and chrominance signals into RGB signals; a D/A(digital to analog) converter outputting to the outer unit by converting the digital video signal into the analog signal; an OSGM(On Screen Graphic Mixer)(13) outputting RGB analog video signals by adding additional information to the digital video data from the format converter; and a CRT(cathode ray tube) driving unit(14) actuated by RGB analog video signals from the outer unit and the OSGM. The application range is enlarged with inputting and outputting the HD(high definition) standard RGB video signal to the outer unit.
